The Basics Of Essay Writing
The Basics Of Essay Writing Is your aim to offer the steps to solve a particular problem, persuade readers in your point of view, or educate people about some idea, person or event? Weâre giving away a $1,000 scholarship to affected college students. All you need to do is submit a proof of your enrollment. Write the first draft from start to finish, even if you know your thoughts are out of order. You can re-arrange them at a later time, but the initial run through will be as fluid as possible. If a student needs to answer the phone during an emergency, he or she can step out of the classroom to do so. This setup would give the students and the instructor peace of mind. Arguments against cell phone control typically focus on safety concerns. Should a crisis occurs in the classroom, students should have their phones on hand to make a call. And that means sheâll have to revise and rethink and ask more questions. Sheâll come to her overall claim, introduction and conclusion from her discoveries -- not the other way around. We ask students to begin by exploring something specific in the text, rather than a big idea or generalization. That means she must begin by admitting, âI donât understandâ -- a daunting and difficult prospect. A little while back, we wrote an essay arguing against killing off the undergraduate essay. The process work weâre advocating here is multistaged, iterative, messy work. The student may move from the text to questions to freewriting or brainstorming to drafting, then go back to the text and so on, deepening her analysis by asking questions. With the right amount of control and flexibility, colleges can create a pleasant learning environment with maximum safety and minimal interruptions. The best solution is to create cell phone usage rules that allow devices to be accessible without disturbing other studentsâ educational opportunities. Find reliable websites with such domains as .org (non-profit), .edu , and .gov . Google Scholar and Google Books are both awesome ways of finding out whatâs available in terms of your topic. Avoid websites in which information may be edited by anyone, like Wikipedia. Students should be permitted to keep their phones in their bags, pockets, or other belongings as long as the phones are on silent in class. Vibrate settings may be permitted if the instructor does not believe it will distract him or her, since the noise of the vibration may not be noticeable in a large classroom. Each school, professor and student body is different. Colleges must adapt their rules and discipline efforts to reflect the current needs of their students. Eliminating cell phones in college classrooms is an overstretch, but there are ways to balance studentsâ rights and instructorsâ rights. The piece generated a lot of reaction, much of it focused on the question of what an essay should be. Carefully read your paper and remove the mistakes. Almost every writing assignment requires a student to make a research. Pick a subject that you can find enough material about. She may use a range of visually rich, active-learning methods to generate ideas, get her thoughts in order and fill gaps. As she figuring out the story sheâs trying to tell, her early drafts will most likely be incomplete, overwritten or hard for the reader to follow.

About New Deal Coalition In American Elections Of 1896 - 1100 Words
About New Deal Coalition In American Elections Of 1896 (Essay Sample) Content: ProfessorInstitution:Course:Date:New deal coalition in American elections of 1896The new deal coalition based on largely and was an aberration in American history. This is true due to the instances of division between working class and farmers in the coalition. In the first century and half of American history, people were devoted to their political party which gave them identity, defined social relationships that provided a way to take part in democratic process and offered some stake in a better future. Voting and the market were perhaps two most important means ever devised for reaching collective decisions through individual choices. Political parties often transcended state and territorial borders and people moving into new areas could carry with them the party slogans, rituals and identifications they known back home. Adopting techniques that worked in the new world of popular politics, people in the last half of the nineteenth century celebrated by singing, sho uting and marching terming themselves wide awakesà . Reflecting the developments, which followed the civil war in 1864, became the eyes of historians and political scientist the time of greatest attachment to political parties in the countrys history (Lipset, 52).Between the first decade of the nineteenth century and first decade of twentieth, the legal right to vote was successively extended to propertied white man, then to black men after the civil war and finally to women in 1920. At the same time, changes in the party system reduced the motivation and the capacity of the local parties to mobilize voters. Voters registration intended to discourage voting in big cities, and by poor and less educated. The effects of these institutional changes necessarily obscured introducing urbanization, income earning, and education as controls. A series of legal and procedural changes introduced into electoral system that obstructed the actual ability of many people to vote. At the same time , changes in the party system reduced the motivation and the capacity of the local parties to mobilize voters. In 19th century, the tribalism characteristics of politics that made high levels of mass participation possible encouraged limiting conflicts especially on the class conflict. Between 1820 and 1832, the election turnout was good but it increased up to seventy six percent in 1860 then it drastically dropped in 1868 due to the 1864 civil war. The election conducted in 1896, a corporate republican mobilization defeated the populist and the most important mass participation possible even while limiting conflict especially class conflict. The election also inaugurated a pattern of sectional one-party dominance by the republicans smashed and party completion reduced the way was cleared for the acceleration of changes in the rules governing voting and in the organization and outreach strategies of the parties. The popular politics of preindustrial countries are often marked by cli entelist methods of organizing participation as well as by intense tribal identification. As voter participation expanded so did the reliance by the political parties on government patronage and on the clientelist linkages to the electorate which government patronage made possible (Lipset 45).The challenge posed by the farmers movement seemed hopeless and for several reasons one being the effort by largely protestant farmers to build a national coalition with the largely immigrant catholic working class ran against the grain of ethnoreligious politics. William Jennings Bryan was just such a master of the rhetoric of the common person as in the famous peroration of his address to the democratic nominating in 1896, such as rhetoric that explains why populist abandoned their third-party movement and endorsed Bryan, the democratic candidate. This clearly showed that the poor and the rich had social differences in the voting decision making. The price of the coalition was very high and v ery little of the bold populist critique of the industrial capitalism or of its visionary program of economic cooperation was evident in ensuing campaign. The industrialist and bankers did not benefit because of the hindsight which seemed to make history as it happened inevitable. Their alarm was palpable not only because the farmers movement had spread to reach much of the still large proportion of the population in agriculture but also because of the threat that campaign might become vehicle through which a coalition would be forged with discontented industrial workers in the northeast and Midwest. Under these unstable and unfamiliar conditions, the democratic populist challenge was alarming and horrifying to wealthy democrats as well as republicans. Corporate interest mobilized and poured unprecedented sums into republican coffers for McKinley campaign while the Bryan campaign raise small amount of money. Eventually Bryan lost in the elections because of the reasons below. The ch allenge of 1896 was not only by the sheer weight of the republican-corporate mobilization but by weakness in the democratic-populi...

The field of information technology is no exception to this. In addition to this there has been a great development in the field of Information technology. With the development in the technologies, the issues that are involved with the technologies have also arisen. The ethics in the field of technology is basically involved with the justification of the policies that are involved with the policies that are used for the development and the implementation of the technologies. The ethics in IT provide guidelines for the professionals in te filed that would be guiding them to create and develop technologies keep the concern of the whole society in mind. The essays is used to provide the insight on the issues that are related to the development in the AI technologies. This easy covers the topic of Who needs a driver when an algorithm can do the same work. The essay contains a brief summary of the situation that is at hand, the ethical issues that have arisen due to the situation and also, the sectors of ethics that the issues are affecting also some solutions to resolve the issues have been provide in the essay. 1.For understanding the ethical issues of the technology, it very important to understand the situation that is giving rise to the issue. In a news article released by, The Sydney Morning Herald in their website on September 3, 2011 in has been mentioned that the Artificial Intelligence have developed in recent times to great extent, that they are capable of constructing articles all by themselves which a human would do (LOHR, 2017). Now the real concern is regarding the writers, which the press companies no longer require the writers if all the writing functions are performed by the machines itself then there are no longer requirements of human beings in the companies. This situation gives rise to the ethical issues that are concerning the, technology. 2.The technology that are concerning the situation are known as Narrative Science. The Wisconsin- UNLV football was covered by machine and also the article that was released for the match was also composed by a computer (Ombele et al., 2016). This machine was developed by a start-up based in Evanston in Illinois. The company used the narrative science technologies concept. The technology provided facilities for the computers so that they can mimic the human behavior and reasoning. The company took the data form the sports statistics and also the different type of financial reports. In addition to this statistics the computer can also acquire the statistics involving the different sports franchises and different parameters that are concerning the game and the different teams. There has been a lot of experimentation in the technology form before. Earlier the software could only fill in the blanks with the pre written scripts and data regarding the game or the event in it. But with the development of the technology there has been grate development in the software also and it can produce the quality almost as same as the human being can produce. In addition to this development of the technology have been so vast that the software can now easily construct articles other than sports articles also. In addition to this, there has also been a prediction made that the machine has the ability of winning the Pulitzer prize in about 20 years. But with all these development the main concern has been that, the replacement of the human beings. And this has been the major ethical issue in the situation. The main ethical issues is that the human writers would be losing their jobs and also their positions in the newspaper companies. 3.The other non-ethical issues are that the computers would not be able to produce the emotions of human being that are displayed during a live match and this might have unsatisfied the readers. In addition to this there have been speculations about these machines constructing literature and this gives rise to the question of copying the ideas of the previous authors as these machine use the concepts of using the previously written resources. 4.The main stakeholders who would be affected in this situation are the current writers who would be losing their jobs due to the immergence of this technology and also the readers who love articles by a particular journalist. In addition to this, the concept of journalism might also change. In addition to this, the newspaper companies also would be losing out on their audience. As some of the people love to read articles that are somewhat biased and has a taste of their favorite group. In addition to this, the machines are also capable of creating literature and hence this would be a concern as the machine be copying the ideas of people. 5.Main ethical issues concerned with the situation are the replacement of the human being by the robot journalists. This would make the writers lose their jobs. In addition to this, as result this would also decrease the opportunities of the human beings in the field of journalism. This issue violates all the ethical codes of the classical ethical theories. The theory of Utilitarian is violated by this issue (Cohen Ahn, 2016). This is because the group of journalists who are engaged with the writing processes would be in danger of losing their jobs. The machines would be copying the ideas of the previous publishers and hence the deontological issue would also be violated (Kehoe, 2015). In addition to this the emerging journalists would be losing out on their opportunity to new jobs and hence, would be discouraging them from taking up journalism as profession. This would be violating the virtue ethics (Van Hooft, 2014). 6.For the resolution of the issues a number of options can be availed by the companies. Firstly, they should not be over dependent on this technology Management. In addition to this there must be introduction of some kind of policies that would prevent the machine from copying the ideas of others and creating new literatures. In addition to this, the companies should be looking to incorporate the technologies in their process in addition to the human resources as well. 7.The dependency on the software should not exceed to great extent and hence, the companies should look to make only a limited use of the technology. In addition to this, there should be introduction of policies by the governing bodies of the world that would restrict the algorithms form procuring data that would hamper the privacy issues. In addition to this the companies must also look into the, matter and ensure that their employees do not loss out on their jobs. They should try and incorporate the software into their systems and look to increase the efficiency with incorporating the software with the human resources. 8.The option of incorporating the software with the human resources that are available to the company. This would be increasing the overall efficiency of the company and also the employees would not be losing out on their jobs. In addition to this, the company would also be able to make sure that the software is not copying data on their own and also not stealing the ideas of others. For conclusion it can be said that the emergence of AI and advancement in this field has benefitted the humans greatly but there are also a great number of issues that are arising with the advancement. The present topic is used to display the matter in this essay. References Clerwall, C. (2014). Enter the robot journalist: Users' perceptions of automated content.Journalism Practice,8(5), 519-531. Reiters Syndome Essays - Feminism, British People, Womens Rights
Reiters Syndome Equal Rights for Women During the nineteenth century, the women suffrage movement was coming out full force to demand the equal rights of women in the United States and Europe. The women who supported the womens suffrage adapted a Declaration of Principles that simply stated that, We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men and women are created equal (Perry, 1995, p.194). The women suffrage movement not only was striving for equal rights of women but also for voting privileges. Mary Wollstonecrafts protested against the self-abasement of women to men. In the Vindication of the Rights of Woman, Wollstonecraft emphasized that a well-schooled, dependable, and powerful woman would be useful in society and able to manage a family. Women should be allowed to practice medicine as a physician, or manage a store where they can hold their heads high instead wasting their life away. In the writings of John Stuart Mill, he supported women s rights in The Subjection of Women. He believed that males abused th eir power over women, and sought to have women partake in political affairs. After women decided they were getting no where with simple demonstrations they decided to use some militant strategies by disrupting political meetings and enforcing hunger strikes lead by Emmeline Pankhurst. Finally, in 1920 women were allowed to vote in the United States. Women in the 20th century have come along way, although they will always be fighting for the equal rights of women. Men still make a larger salary than most women do and they become higher executives. Women are now allowed to vote and have as good an education as a male. With this education women are becoming physicians and political figures in todays society. Women can now hold their heads up high and be proud of who and what they are. Medicine Essays
